So far, anyway ...
1. The big guy takes his place on the chalkboard wall:
The idea was inspired by a simple picture of Santa hanging above the fireplace at Chaps restaurant, here in Spokane. I'll have to drop in there and take some photos before Christmas is over. Your jaw would drop if you could see firsthand how owner Celeste Shaw has decorated that place for the holidays (using mostly old junk and vintage treasures).
2. What's left over from a cookie exchange ... that we just attended this morning (!!!).
3. An impromptu day of sledding at our friend Hans' house.
More to come. Hope your world is merry, too.

Hi! I'm a new reader and I just found your blog today through Odeedoh. I just had to check out your blog because you live in Spokane and I have family there. Then, I had to comment because you said you went sledding at the home of a friend named Hans. It wouldn't happen to be Hans DeBoer would it? If so, he was married to my grandmother for many many years until very recently. I know it's a fat chance but how many Hans can there in Spokane? Anyway, Happy New Year to you!
