Our first homemade super hero is done. The Dyno Mighty cape and crown have already been put to use ... as a headband (briefly) and a blanket for a doll. Que sera. Bo will probably warm up to it eventually.
If she does, future hero capes and crowns will be
Captain Carousel (an “up-and-down horse”, as Bo calls them)
Wonder Worm (lover of books)
and
The Green Monster (defender of our garden)
We followed "The Creative Family's" crown pattern--worked like a charm. I think crowns will be a standard birthday gift for friends from now on and a fun project to do during play dates.
